 Microsoft maybe has the problem.I regret to inform you that every time I try to open Food File, I am notified by Microsoft that the Food File program has enncountered a problem and must close down. I have informed Kelpie, but have not received a reply.

Food File Great for some maybe for me.I found 'Food File' to be extremely detailed in regards to the food value and chemical analysis of foods. As a type I diabetic I will use it when no other easily identifiable souce of food value is listed. As always the extensive list of edibles is not all encompasing. I have yet to find a list that is. It did not place a shortcut on my XP home edition desktop confuser. I found the .exe file and created a shortcut myself. I like the sort fuctions and will definitely use the filters when I must eat out, or when there is no carbohydrate, fat and protien listed on the nonexistent lable. Two suggestions: 1. Add some allergens where possible. My family has various allergies to food and other. From what I read, I anticipate allergic reactions to foods will be the next edible issue to be chewed and digested. 2. Can this be adapted to a Pocket PC.
